DENOx Engineering for SCR and SNCR Systems

SNCR

SNCR – Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction

The classic technology for the reduction of NOx emissions is applied within the temperature range of 900°C to 1050°C of the flue gas. Dual compound lances are used to inject aqueous ammonia or urea solution within the ideal flue gas temperature window reducing NOx emissions. The reactant volume is adapted to the load condition and continuously regulated by the mixing and metering module. The processing of the reactant handling systems (e.g. pump groups, storage tanks, metering and dosing equipment, etc) is designed by MAL DeNOx Systems according to client’s specifications.

The design, arrangement, and location of the reagent injectors are critical to the performance of the SNCR system. The advanced technology of MAL DeNOx Systems utilizes variable droplet size control and automatic titling based on furnace temperature, to enhance the NOx reduction performance.
